I'm going surfing

lol, I am actually a Brady... we hail from Martinsville NJ. And there were 6 kids. 70's and all... I'm a Brady thru and thru....

 

Hey... the proper term is HERO for a reason. To call it anything else it to denigrate the true heroes of this nation. Like that guy with two daughters who saw a man fall into the subway tracks and threw himself on top of him, squishing them beneath the center of the unstoppable train. That's a hero.

I hit it up a bit late and surfed till I couldn't see. Had it to myself a bit after the gulls went to bed. Yelps and animal noises and closeouts all to myself. Then I got changed outside, went home, and ate 20 chicken wings. Drinking a 24 of Genesee Cream Ale now, lying on a pile of balloons.

Life is good.

 

True enough.

I was fortunate to get out 3 times last week. Not much in the way of waves Friday afternoon/evening, but air temp of 77 with water temp of 53 was nice. Had torn ligament in finger of right hand from previous weekend but was able to put glove over splint, paddle and pop up all right. Cold front and rain came through Friday night. Saturday, I was getting oil change on car and X-mas shopping with wife.
Hope to get out again Monday - maybe in AM before work.
