dawn patrol was hairy - 6ft non-stop sets; saw a kid get thrashed on a jetty; he's ok but board ruined...also freekin cold the air....the wind was offshore and some photog is gonna post a pretty one....but it wasn't that good. kinda hairy.
snow was coming down pretty decent, 3ft clean with 37degree h20! sun was peeking through the snow and I was thinking, this is fugging awesome!

IMO you didn't miss much. there are some nice photos on this thread; they make it seem better than it was. wonky wind, poor angle, double swell and dropping tide....
