all the take shelter edits have been incredibly good. after watching this, i almost think he's the best all around surfer around right now. better than JJF based off his big wave exploits.

Yea, it reminds you that these big wave surfers, are not just big wave surfers, they rip. Sometimes you watch guys surfing Jaws, and you think, if I only had the balls I could surf that, but then you forget that the average skill level of any guy out there is on a whole other planet, and the size of your balls is just the beginning.
I was blown away by this edit. So f*cking good. Cool to see someone posted it up. 2:30, stylish shifty ollie like he's got skate shoes and griptape. Unbelievable. All the straight airs (no grab/rotation) look amazing. 4:02, smooth back to back 360's on the same wave- and it was a gnarly foamey mess. This dude has always been a blast to watch and I hope he never lets up. As per the JJF reference, for whatever reason, I never really found him inspiring. But watching Albee always makes me want to go surf. Like... NOW. And there ain't sh*t for waves on the horizon.
Albee is so fuking awesome. Love the way he surfs. He pushes so hard on every turn and every air and still has style...The sh!t he pulls is unreal
