whether those countries do or don't isn't the real point of the monologue...the point is we were once the greatest..but we aren't anymore..why? that is what needs to be solved so we can be again...
    corporate greed?
    lawmaker greed?
    term limits?
    statesmen not career politicians?
    education curriculum?

1st Time I've seen it, and I thought it was good. A lot of truth, but I will add that I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Be positive people, and look forward to the future, the past is the past. Good things ahead.

Agreed. The problem is that we have a tendency to romanticize our past, forget the bad, remember the good.

When were we at our greatest? What year? What time? No one can really say, we just this sort of have this feeling that we were more wholesome, more moral, more whatever back in the past. But go back 30 or 50 years or whatever, and you'd see wholesale discrimination, and other grievous social/moral issues. Just ask a gay or black person if they would have preferred to live in the USA 50 years ago, and they would say, hella no. Same with women.

I still say America IS the greatest country to live in, despite all the truths of that video. Can't put a price tag on freedom, real freedom and the land of opportunity. There's a reason why everybody comes here.

Go back 10-15 pages. There's several pages on the topic. I agree with Barry.
Bottom line. The extent of "man made" climate change that has all the progressives up in arms for action is a hoax.
The climate has been changing for billions of years.
Action taken by humans to stop it is all in vain, and any world leader telling you that we need to cut carbon emissions is part of the UN agenda to enslave humanity.

The fact that you, or anyone else, would use that video to promote Trump or those like him is the funniest thing you have ever posted... which really isn't that funny, but is by comparison. Liberals lose because they are pu**ies and conservatives lie about our standing. Go pull a list of the countries ahead of us on the lists he mentioned... all social democracies, and the exact opposite of what you, Archy and Trump want.

Haven't you constantly pointed to the Obama administration's use of drone strikes as a bad thing? Now its okay because Trump is doing it... I imagine you think Mattis was flying the drone from a secret control center... or maybe Trump himself.

Archy's turnaround with all this is honestly completely mind blowing to me.

You're right... I said I wouldn't get involved in this political stuff... self imposed exile on politics is back on.

Hmmm, Obama's been droning everyday for 8 years and ISIS only gotten stronger to the point that worldwide terror attacks are an almost daily occurance.
Trump and Mattis are just cleaning up the mess that Obama and Hillary made, and that makes me happy.
And it's pretty fukin funny that Democrats have always been anti war and lambasted Repubs relentlessly,
But Obama is the worst president in history with 8 straight years of continuous war and all of you were silent.
Who's the the hippocrat here jacks$$?

I don't know what you mean SS. Care to remind me of my past.
Honestly, I can't recall being anti freedom.

I will no longer partake in any political discourse. here or anywhere. I now base my political opinion on one source and one source only: The words of the late great George Carlin. Everything else you read or see is agenda driven. George simply stated the truth about America: We are a nation of stupid people following a group of stupid leaders.
If he were alive today, his head would have exploded...
