For some reason it doesn't seem like it'll be that easy to pop. It doesn't just inflate like those tubes. Its more of solid plastic. I mean, if you hit something like a jetty or something, I'm sure it will pop. But when you hit a jetty on a regular board, you're coming away witha few dings...
i mean, i cant see you duck diving a 10' board in the first place, but it'd be nice to try and get one of the thrusters under...definitly dont see it happening tho
Some of the videos seemed like he had a hell of a time trying to stay on the wave. Seems like they don't offer up much speed.
the problem with these boards are, #1. these boards are nowhere near perfomance boards, and the only people that would want to use them would be begginers/kooks and soccer moms buying boards for their kids because a fiberglass board 'looks too dangerous' with that being said, it brings me to point #2. given that the majority of people will be begginers buying these boards, most of them will not be willing to pay $500+ for a board... they look gay anyways.
now hold up yall. i got me one of these with an outboard motor and a cooler. it aint da best **** on turns but damn i can catch pretty much anyting mother atlantic dishes out
My ULI is still working great, had it for 4 years now. Its great to keep in the back of the car for those small wind swells that pop up outa no where.
