I'll be there for two days, 3/29 3/30 to visit my 100 yr old gr. grandmother I will be coming down from my 39 degree delaware surf spot. I am hoping to luck out for surf without a wetsuit and no snow. How are my chances. Anything able to even move my board!
What exactly do you mean by "very low standards"? Are you referring to the surf or (from what it looks like) Madeira Beach itself ? It sounds a lot like an insult to the people who live here to me. Do us all a favor and stay home next time. d**k head.
FLPirate, the way he wrote it, i can see how you could think he was talking about madiera beach itself, but if you read his first post, i'm pretty sure wonton is talking about the surf, as he was hoping to get something remotely surfable on his trip there.
O.K., Maybe I jumped the gun a little sorry. Im a little stressed from this flat spell we are in. With that said, even though Maderia may not have the most consistant surf and the swells that we do see may not always be that great I still think it is a little disrespectful to say by surfing here you have low standards. Shea and Corey Lopez are from Indian Rocks Beach which is less than 10 miles away from Madeira Beach and they are two of the best surfers in the world. I guess I just get tired of people always dissing the gulf coast.
I think I get it now. You mean you have low standards for that particular session. You just want to surf anything possible when you are here. Sorry for jumping to conclusions. I guess I'm the real d**k Head here.
we had a small front come through today that produced a fun little wind swell...unfortunately i didn't get any pics. Hopefully i will get back on it first thing in the a.m. and ill try to get something posted. probably just chooppy stuff tomorrow but im sure i can get some good pics. untill then i would just like to say GO D-RAYS!!!! we just won our home opener against the blue jays 6-5.
were's the surf? anybody anxious to for some waves?i haven't seen snything since the last week of may at upham beach..
Yes Dude it's been way to friggin' long. The last swell that came through in Naples was Tropical Storm Barry, June 1st. I just bought a new board in prep. for hurricane season, and so far...NOTHING!
