So on Sunday I was at a local inlet, and waves were coming in, crazy current........some were crumbling, and some looked like they can actually be ridden. Now I know there are different laws for state property and local law enforcement, but considering boats were few and far leaving and coming in........does anyone think you can hop off a buddys boat, catch a few, let him pick you up and do it again? Heres a photo to put a face to a name...
mb, id give it a shot, you can always play dumb once the coast guard or police show up...and let me guess Barnaget light? lol
With all the waves on that island....you wanna surf there? I would gaff your %ss if I was chugging thru there
yeah its Barnaget, and I rarely venture that far south...maybe twice a year.......and on that day the wind was destroying any waves coming in that area. Plus I wouldnt try it in heavy boating traffic... And I'm sure you wouldnt gaff me.....yeah...I'm pretty sure...
haha i was thinking the same thing myself this summer during earl. it was actually firing in there when i checked it. I walked down the jetty to where the beach meets the inlet to get a better view, and you can see the waves slowly roll in from the ocean (huge mounds of water I might add) then just jack up and break all of a sudden. they looked sick, especially when a guy on a ski came by and started riding them
the waves here are great, but when you watch the inlet it makes you wish you could surf there. it looks like a super long wave too
