Most surfers have other talents and most of them involve music. I play guitar mostly but I can slap on the bass too. Watcha play braaaah?
I play guitar in my free time when its flat. Along with skating and working. Been playing for 3 years now. I think its really cool to share with your friends and def rocks the party. This is my favorite song to play.

when i was in the fifth grade my mom rented me some drums then made me quit 1 month later due to loss of sleep and horrible performance. I own a whistle now
I play guitar & drums occasionally; drums are the most fun but tough to play in the city. I've been playing bass for 8 or so years now. I've been in a couple of bands, the first of which just played a few dates in PR (wish I could have been there) and the second of which imploded in early summer. There's something about hitting the water 'pre-inspired' that just puts songs into my head... very inspiring, but I rarely remember the tune. I've never had a professional lesson in my life and I don't really know the scales, so it's tough for me to translate my musical thoughts to my instrument. Nonetheless, my last band had a song about the serial killer that dumped bodies at Gilgo Beach (LI New York). I'll have to post it one day. It would be rad to make an SI surf band, you know what we gotta call it? "The Shredmachines." Koki on Drums, me on Bass, Ooglyboogly on vocals ... come on guys, who shreds guitar?
Banjo (Clawhammer style) Harmonica Clarinet (Prefer Dixieland Jazz) Would like to take up Electric Bass Guitar, maybe Trombone.
Played guitar(electric) in bands for years. I play out in the summer on the resonator (acoustic) with a slide a few days a week and for weddings. Recently started ****in around with the bass.
LOL. Played the trumpet in middle school I occasionally bust it out. My skills have diminished since 8th grade but I can still toot my own horn here and there hehe.
Can you guess? Da bass! Self taught, don't play in a band but I have a bud with a studio who play drums and dabbles with guitar. We write and record allot but don't play live since it's only the two of us. I really like to write after a surf. Every one describes it diffrent, but we as surfers exit the water in a diffrent mood then when we enter. When in that mood the groove just falls out my fingers
I rip guitar. Been surfing 30 some odd years but Im much better at guitar. Made a living playing professionally. Pretty much can play tons of instruments but guitar, especially electric is just about the most versatile instrument you can play. Tho not every guitar player is a musician. Spent my time in studios. Love wackin on drums when I can. The violin. even tho I think I suck has gotten me a ton of poonani. Piano is classy and always gets you those high dollar divorced s l u t s. And the tuba is a great substitute for bass. So heavy.
guitar. I got a strat I play through a Boss eBand...sounds like sh!t most of the time, but every once in a while everything comes together and I get that rock star high. In a perfect world, I'd have a marshall amp rig and my hands would be smaller so I could play a Les Paul.
Bro. First thing I thought of when I saw the tread title. What kept me from doing it is that Dune is a good brah and he's chasing neighborhood tail which is a clear indicator of no skin flute proficiency.
