Intro Thread

Sirs,

Allow me to present myself. I am Robert Taft Rumfoord son of ardent Barry Goldwater supporter, Commodore William Howard Taft Rumfoord. My father was Commodore of the Hyannis Port Yacht Club in 1946.

One query before I resume my introductory statement: Is Cape Cod considered Northern or Southern New England?

Well, I also am a seasoned mariner, and I swim the harbor daily. My father, while entertaining some Kennedy riff-raff, happened upon this site, and told me aboot the fine standards of surf predictin message boards y'all have here. I don't surf, per se, but I did some banging in some boats near Nauset Beach a few times. That should count for something.

I'm a bit of a rabble rouser, as I stunned my father by marrying a Kennedy. Only Pumpmaster would have been more shocked and dismayed.

Well, enough for now. I am off for a round of tennis with some fellows from The Yacht Club. No, I can't get you in. LOL !!

Yes, to me and others, The Cape doesn't feel like Southern New England, which I consider a bit inferior.

Wow, this black dude pulled in front of our cottage, yes it is pretty big to be labeled a cottage!! Anyway, he gave me these wax paper folds.

Well, I feel alive...invigorated even. So, I must depart and go for a swim. I'm meeting father for lunch around noonish.
