this is the best forcasting site on the planet don't thin other wise, we talk about legitimate surf topics and awesome stuff. those stupid brits suck they talk about tea and crumpits. they censor everything on their site. this is swellinfo this is AMERICA, viva la south.

All I know is that it's going to be huge down here tomorrow. It always is. Hilton Head Island loves 16 seconds.

My morning opened up so I went surfing. The conditions were interesting. Tomorrow will be decent size swell from Edouard. Today started out ankle knee, increased to knee to thigh high, peeling nicely...Then, before noon, there were these long spells of complete flatitude. Then there would be sets of bigger waves, followed by complete flat. Thr water was super glassy, 2-3mph offshore. Then a pod of like 30 mullet jumped right over me while I was lying on the board.

It was like the ocean was practicing to receive the Edouard swell :)

Have fun tomorrow and Thursday guys!

I'm not saying magic seaweed is better. Swellinfo is way better. It just seemed that emass was predicting epic swell and magic seaweed was predicting 5-7 ft and clean for ri.

emass has an epic time whenever his big toe touches a board. While his gromstat brodom is annoying as ****, the dude is stoked (that was for you seldom) on anything that gets him in the water... just like we all were the first 5 years of surfing, could probably learn a thing or two from him.

Webcam on Cocoa Beach right now shows knee, maybe thigh high waves. Maybe it will build throughout the day?

Yeah north moco sucks. Either Eduardo hasn't pulsed up here yet or it lost juice out in the Atlantic. But the day is young and im trying be more optimistic in life. Being realistic is overrated.

I'm not surprised its slow to show, as the GFS tends to overcall these storms a bit. The GFDL wind forecast tends to be a better overall estimate. Swell is showing on the buoys, and it will continue to slowly fill in through the day and overnight. Most areas will peak out Thursday morning.
