    you sound on point JD
right now most of my savings is in equity, cash, and BTC, and Ag

I am hesitating about making big moves into the market
the 300 trillion in obligations makes the system seem farcical and just a giant ponzi

It's definitely a huge (I tried to say that like Bernie but I can't) Ponzi scheme. The federal reserve balance sheet is something to watch in the interim to see how they unwind "their debt".

Having Cash right now is not a bad thing...if the tax reform does not happen, the equity market will see a major correction.

    I will outlive you.
You are way too stressed out. You worry about things over which you have no control. Heart attack is on its way for you....
I enjoy every day I live on planet Earth. Been a great few decades. I am proud to leave my garbage for you, however. Enjoy cleaning it up, homie.....

Trying to sound like "Bernie" means you are a dumb as he is.
As for the correction, precisely how "major" of a correction will this be?? 10%? 20%? 30%?. Please edikate all of us Mr. Market Maven....we wish to be edikated.

I would be guessing (educated) but I think it would be enough to take some cash off the sidelines and jump on a few trades and/or investments for the longer term. I could see 10-20% downward pressure by year end if ACA is not repealed/replaced (Proper) and at the very least corporate tax reform.

Look at the graph for S&P, from 1929 to present. Despite all the negativity (chicken littles such as saurus), despite wars, famine, horrendous politics and policies....the graph shows the S&P 500 to continue on its way up.
The rest is chicken ****.. Anything Bernie says is for idiots. The evidence talks

40% within 12 (18 max) months market crush, likely in the fall, like 2008, but bigger

Also, not stressed out, I am aware of things

and looking at the macro, the whole financial system, setup is nonsense

My Bernie comment was an attempt at sarcasm...I despise his way of thinking.

I agree on the long term SP (although you are sounding like Mr Berkshire). But, market corrections are opportunities....look back at that same chart. Go back and look at the avg PE as an example. I think this market is frothy and a correction would be okay...and it will happen (may or may not be due to tax reform but a large bet has been instilled in the current SP valuation based on Corp tax reform alone...I think).

    2014 and I was wrong

I will be right one day as even a broken clock is right twice a day

This cant continue, this is biggest bull market in the history of the stock market, corrections will happen, the longer the run-up, the bigger the drop

Of course there will be a correction.
And corrections are HEALTHY for the market. I look forward to them; the time post-correction is a great time to earn profits in trading.
But piling ones money in Ag,or Au?? Maybe a small bit....very small bit. And gold only; silver is a waste of time, imho.
JayD--I knew it was sarcasm, to which I was agreeing.

JayD, question. What exchange do you use? I have settled with Kraken as of now. I'm still waiting for verification though. Coinbase and some other one, i forget, asked me for my SS#. I stopped there.
Also what kind of wallet do you have? I ordered a Ledger Nano S hard wallet, but they are back ordered till July.
I feel confident so far in my choices and have read many reviews but would like to get some first hand experiences.

Stupid question... How does a virtual wallet that holds virtual $ become backordered?

Exploring the VWE (VIRWOX), PayPal, and looking at ancillary stocks to this market...sounds like you are farther along on actual purchase.
