this site would be a lot cooler if it was people from everywhere in the world and everyone was cool and u could be like
"hey im planning a trip to Ireland..."

"cool u can stay at my place"
    ......

that's how it should be,I know most people who travel the world on a reg meet friends all over and u stay with them when u go on ur trip, instead of a hotel.around the world, people love to welcome americans (unless u go to the middleast) and always treat people well.I have a buddy in costa rica I stay with when I go down.no car rentals, motels, surf camps, just liven like a local.

my buddy just went to Hawaii on his anniversary and he doesn't even surf or nothing, but the Hawaiians welcomed him with open arms.he even tried to paddle out at pipe with them, but he said he couldn't get out,the whitewash would blast him to the beach.like I said,he doesn't surf so...but people are friendly when theyre not on the internet!!

I constantly had friends and even just friends of friends stay at my place in Bundoran in "the gimp room" because it was so small, but when your a travelling surfer you don't care just a warm bed and a roof maybe a shower is fine. I can now go to most countries in the world that have surf and find a welcome mat for me. I've made life long friends just from opening my door to people I don't "know. Positive begets Positive.
