Ok so I'm not the hippest guy on the block. I don't know if this is some kind of new trend or just something weird. Regardless, I think some of you guys would find this funny.

I moved to a new place about two months ago. One town over from where I used to live. Right smack dab in the middle of town. So when I first moved in I was driving and a bunch of kids rode by on bicycles, all wheelying. And when I say kids I mean like 19-20 yrs old. And when I say wheelying I mean damn good, ya know holding it for a long distance. There must of been like 7 kids all cruising with one wheel up. I laughed. So maybe two weeks later I'm coming home from a surf after work. Down the very busy main street. Almost dark. The wheeliers came flying down the street, against traffic, still, all 7 wheels straight up. This time I was like ok, this is weird. So today I'm driving home, and again I see these kids all wheelying. Weaving in and out of traffic while holding there wheely. Now I'm just confused.

What makes it really strange to me, is these kids are older. Like in a year or two will be legally drinking. And they all got like chains on, flat brims sideways. I mean I don't judge people by there cloths, but these guys look like a bunch of wanna be thugs. Screaming down the busy traffic infested street, all one wheel up. It's like a gang. There's alot of them. And not one has that front wheel down. I'll give them credit, there damn good at the popawheely. But what the hell is going on?

Am I out of the loop? Is this a thing? Anybody else got a gang of wheelyers in there town? Discuss

Bicycles. That's what throws me off. The vibe they give off is like "those are some bad dudes", but then you see the bicycles and it's like wait wait, maybe not.

Any home game for the Wizards. You go outside VZN Center after the game. Homies from Soufeast be rippin' through the streets & on the sidewalks on ATVs. Pulliing wheelies & stuntin', trying to come as close to pedestrians as possible, and the palefaces are fleeing for their rigs to get back to Virginia & Maryland.

DC cops....? Nowhere in sight. EVER.

Country's gone to hell in a handbasket.

Wow. Not quite as many guys as in the video, and way more traffic. But this is what I keep seeing by me. I guess it is a thing

Best practice then would be to register for a concealed weapon. When one of the idiots comes close, pull out weapon and shoot the idiot dead. Similar to that scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark, where the arab pulls a sword and is shot dead.
I think it will be time to register for one.....

I am familiar with this phenomena, although I can't say I understand it. I could never do wheelies as a kid, at least no more than three pedals of it.

I don't know how these kids got so good at it, but I see this all the time, on both bicycles and atvs/dirtbikes. The latter cruise around like a gang, faces covered, it's a big problemme in my area. They intimidate people and scare old ladies(paging MichaelJR)...

I'm ok with the bikes but the atvs/dirtbikes should be a shoot on site policy as far as iM concerned.
