Is this wed. morn. as good as the forecast looks, for the OC area? and to start another problem, does anybody surf the inlet? it's like a big secret and nobody will say, yeh.
the only "secrets" I know about in OC is at 49th street bayside I wish I had never posted any pictures with locations on them. Maybe it would have made a little difference today, who knows really. <<and maybe that is giving myself to much credit. But no matter how some of us have wanted to share, it has always ended up screwing the locals around in the end from what I have seen. Funny thing is, they just had an article on surfline about some of the outer HI islands, and how the locals would not take kindly to location exposer of any kind. And I heard the same thing From Drex a few months back during the fall, I think he put it like,.....they would beat the crap out of you if they found you even with a camera in hand at some of those breaks. That may be an extreme example,...but it does speak to how most locals, anywhere, feel about more and more persons from outside the local area just showing up and expecting to be greeted with Aloha.
sorry hey i guess the only thing to say is, "sorry". i didn't know it was that way. from now on i guess it will have to be generic with the titles and you guys can figure out who is in the photos.
My post was not to make you feel bad. It is that with the way things have gone over the last five or so years, it would be best, in my opinion,.. to maybe just get to know a few people first and then ask or allow them to help out with some of your questions. Just not on an open forum, at least not one like this that has eyes from FL to ME. If I came off the wrong way,sorry, i have been off my meds for two months now. Ok I talk to much,.. what I would say is your best bet is to check out Delsurf.com. For the most part the users are more relaxed and mature over there. You could see who is who and then maybe send them a PM. I am sure some of the more frequent posters would be happy to give you the low down,, and even plan a time to get up with you for a surf. If you check out there posts, you will see who to PM. Also, the pictures are/were nice i checked out your picture on your myspace so maybe I will see you out and about.

Looks like the wind is going to be the big factor for this next swell. If it has enough west in it we'll be ok otherwise it's going to be choppy as hell. Right now it looks like the choop grap is most likely.
i saw on accuweather hourly forecasts for OCMD south to SSW in the morning going north during the early afternoon.
fujifilm i am just using a fujifilm S5000 with a stock lens. the sun on water shots turn out awesome with it. i haven't retouched any, except the one of joel on my myspace page. you know i do understand some of the turf stuff because i airbrush and when someone new comes around, it can almost seem like a threat. i only want to show some luv, not a hater. i will probably be out some time wed. and i do get some inside help from a friend on locations. no hard feelings. just a polock with A.D.D. you know they don't mix well
