Don't think I am going to make it down there in time. I think it is about to start in like 1 or 2 hours. The surf up in JL is 10ft+ right now and from a nice WNW angle, so Killers and Thors Hammer should be upwards of 35-40 ft on the west bowls out at todos today... Congrats Mark Healy.... He won the Todos big wave paddle event yesterday. Great to see him still charging after his near death experience! These guys are the GANGSTERS of big wave surfing!!! The sh*** sponsors pulled the event money in early february, and these guys said fu** it, we are doing it for free! These guys all just put together a Sick contest at killers at todos and there was no sponsors and no prize money... Just 10-15 of the world's best big wave riders doing what they love... This is a really great story... Now tow-ins, no jets skis, just men, boards and big as$ waves... I love it!!!! I tried to make it down that morning, but I go caught up at work, never would have gotten out there on a boat in time to see the action.
