If you want a yellowed HPSB or semi gun you'll be in heaven. Not too many other options but like stranded said, surf station 2 is your best bet but that's a long way from mayport. Not as far from jax/Atlantic beach though.

Craiglist. JAX has tons of action on CL. I have almost driven down there on numerous occasions because of this. Only place in my area to get blanks too.

Don't let the names fool you. The travel time from Atlantic through Neptune to Jax is literally minutes... travel from the first to the last is less than 3 miles along A1A and even from the far end of Mayport its only 5 1/2 miles to Jax. Biggest and best shops-Aqua East on Atlantic (obviously in Atlantic or maybe it's Neptune...doesn't really matter) and Sunrise on Beach (Jax). If you are surf hermit like me and spend all your time on the Southside at Bluetops and Poles then Aqua East is the call. Fort George Island (not on Fort George Island oddly enough but in Mayport) is really small but is the closest shop to Hanna Park. Surf Source is not a shop (major distributor for board builders in Atlantic) but they let you browse and will hook you up if you are looking for fins, etc. Honestly Jax holds nothing of value for me... crowds...prepubescent rippers...the pier. The stretch of Mayport and the Northside hold all the quality spots. I'm moving overseas middle of the month but if you want to grab a session or some (transient) local knowledge message me.
