Jersey Devil Opens In Atlantic City

that article was so out of nowhere, had no idea before i saw that, that they were opening a new shop

 

Yeah, saw this a few days ago from the same source.

I don't know. I'm kind of afeared to go in that place. Mr. Randazzo seems to have a lot of bad luck and I don't need any rubbing off me. I have enough problems as is.

But the rest of you lucky people should stop in. Ahhh, Ocean City legend, by way of Somers Point, opens competing surf shop against South Jersey's biggest surf shops, all of whom probably have know Mr. Randazzo for ages.

Like one of the dudes at Heritage is crazy. He gets all bent if you mention Surfers Supplies. Not that I know him or anything but I had to voice a complaint to him once. Whoever "him" is (was). Had a little fun with that.

But that location, man........ahhhhhhh, I don't know. Summer time sure, but I can't see much going on offseason. The core dudes have their loyalities already, and it's not exactly at a location where you can park easily and hop in-and-out of the store. Not too many local surfers in the immediate area. And two of the big Ocean City 3 have stores in satellite stores in Margate

Too close to the Ocean City big three. Not many surfer-types are going shopping in Atlantic City. And the toughs who surf Metros shouldn't be bringing valuables to leave in the car. Hanna or Bungalow Bob will get at them.

But I wish him luck. He could use a break. Wow, Jersey's pro-messiah, and all the suffering he went through just so Rob Kelly and Sam Hammer could enjoy Barrier Island Hero Status.............Man, they should give Mr. Randazzo a cut of their Fox and Billabong checks......

I went the last week. Its a tourist trap. Theres a total of 5 boards for sale, and one or two wetsuits. Just stuff for tourists to buy.
