Off topic but being a hockey fan had to post. Ilya Kovalchuck the NHL's most sought after free agent chooses Newark and the Devils over the bright lights and sunshine of Los Angeles Kings. Who would of thought Newark trumps LA, well for one day at least. I know off topic but i'm stoked for surfing and hockey! Any hockey fans in here?
it's the only upside of the end of summer. the only thing i look forward to about the winter. well that, and good swells. i too bleed red, and black. i'm glad they re signed kovalchuk. they really dropped the ball last season though in the second half. do you make it to any games? my buddy is moving to florida this november down to pinellas county. he's a good friend of mine, but also a game buddy. he's the only person i'm around who LOVES hockey, and that puts up with me talking about it, and i'm the only one who puts up with him talking about it. i feel awful for him, because for the past few years he's been saying he hopes the devils win one more cup before he makes his move to florida, but he's content he will be able to see the devils play the lightning two times a year in florida by him, and the devils games when he comes up for thanksgiving, christmas/new years, and easter. they couldn't do it last year though!
