Anybody from the North / Central FL area mind sharing some info with me about this spot? I'm a Florida native but have never checked this spot out for some reason, drive past it all the time to hit other spots but was considering trying it out. If you don't want to post it to this thread feel free to PM me. Thanks to anybody willing to help out.

as a noob i would say this is a good noob spot because of the shallow beach, i had a couple lessons when i started this year and one was here. it was a north wind and choppy 3 feet fun type wave when i was there. my instructor said when the wind is from the north it is cleaner here than further south, parking is 5 bucks and it is a full service type park w/ washrooms , showers, snackbar, beach rentals, fishing pier, playground, camping.

Thanks for the info, was looking for a spot good with the N / NE winds. Seems like a good options. Was there anything in the water as far as rock, rubar, etc.? Some sites say to watch for this but not sure how old that info is, and if it's been cleaned up at all.

i didn't encounter anything in the water or step on anything but sand, they must have cleaned it up for the kiddies to swim in.
