Keeping on track with surf related topics - I just received my JJF fins and will be test running them in the next couple of weeks. I will do a follow up on this thread related to their performance. Anyone else use them?

yup i have them right now from finatic. i have them on my 5'11 WRV wombat. i really like them so far. nice and light (for futures) and they have good hold and release. really like the rake on the fins as well.

I have never done an air in my life. But I heard they may allow me such freedom?! Rode today in thigh high. To small of a wave to know yet.

Do they make 'em in fcs?
I am always down to try new fins, but i do wonder if they are meant for skinny, light dudes...which i am not.

JJF rides futures only I think. I liked my kelly fins in the fcs. have you tried those?

i do like the kelly fins...but always in the market to try new setups
been riding a quad setups the last couple years, but i recently purchased a set of large thruster fins i'm looking forward to giving a try....

I have always ridden a thruster. Then I got my firewire spitfire which had a quad setup. It was really weird for me. I only ride quad in mush. otherwise I stick to my thruster setup.

I've gotten so used to riding quad, that I tend to not even bother switching back, but I think I may soon to get a different feel...I just really like the speed I get out of riding a quad setup.

Although, my hpsb setup is thruster, just haven't ridden it much this year.

What have you tried? I have some clay marzo quads or FEA thrusters you can try.

I'm not even sure what kind they are. All my boards use fcs but that board I've just never changed the fin box and I bought the board off eBay which It came with the fins and it was my first board. Idt they are anything special it's a thruster and the fins were just black futures

I got some kelly fins for fcs if you wanna try them and the FEA's are pretty nice for futures.
