I like when occy, potts, pete mel and other older dudes are in there. Im pretty sure all the CEOs of the biggest industry brands jizzed in a bucket to create Turpel. Hes the most corpo sounding idiot ever. its like he lives and breaths every thing that I hate about surfing.
The one that was brutal was that lil ditzy chicky, last season, the daughter of the big-time connected Hollywood producer. Nepotism lives, ugh. Chelsea Cannell, that's her name. I'm obviously the minority on Turpel, but whatever. Turpel & Potter are a vry good team. Turpel knows his stuff. He's passionate about surfing & brings up deets that are interesting. Sets up Potter nicely with soft tosses & lobs for Potts to run with. Someone's gotta talk, and if it can't be Occy, well, it is what it is. Some peopel abhor the dude's voice; then again, a lotta surfer buoyz have that high-nasal-pseudo-socal-kicked-in-the-cojones tone to your pipes. Ergo, Turpel's voice is nothing out of the ordinary for the surfing circuit, same as Strider's & a couple of those other talking heads.
If I watch a surf contest with any of those idiots talking, I always turn the sound off. They have ZERO to say to anybody with brains. I listen to music instead, or sit here and play my guitar. Mo betta.

I agree with you. I don't really mind the current people. The Cote and Masakela duo are a good change up but I rather listen to anyone on earth before Wassel. That dude is soooo annoying, he tries WAY too hard and isn't the least bit funny....just insufferable!!!
