nice swell today. good:) 3ft sets, little mushy from side/off wind, tons of surfers but
many just sitting. could see my breath at sunrise. water one tick warmer and crowd mellow.
also i was neither menaced nor mugged by a single cetacean.

yup! surfed a slightly lesser bank w/in easy viewing distance of the star bar in oc w/ just a small handful of others, including one stellar area pro who shall remain nameless. star bar was JAMMED...prob. 100 people on the 2 main peaks.

its possible we were the only ones - i was one of the specks at the star bar - cause i checked ac and it was
easy one half of what oc was and so jersey tends to handle this type swell better 'n most…how bout it any
riders from long island or delmarva?

Solid up in No Mo Co. Nice size, and plenty clean if you knew where to go.

Long island wasn't bad early. Waist/stomach high, super clean and the right ones would peel for a long long time. I'm not good with judging distances so I'm not going to try and put a number on it but they would peel for a long time with no kinks out nothing. Me and one other local in the water. Crowd came as the tide filled in and the wave got a bit fat and weak. Really fun on the lower tide though. Surfed 5 days straight last week and I'm up to 4 this week. Tomorrow will make 5 if I paddle out. Lots of waves to be had recently

Today was alright. I don't know. I just wasn't in the zone I reckon. I saw mo' better waves than I rode. Same thing happened to me on Friday. NE and E swells should be banned. I like 'em from the south. But, most people tend to stay near the jetty on these swells and fail to realize it's better further north. So, nobody tried touching me today. SO I got that going for me, which is nice.

There was MAJOR beef where I was today. It was like world war 3 out there today. Lineup needed regulating. I happily obliged. I made sure they knew who OWNED the break and ran the show.

0600 saw head high on the wild side. Was really fun for a couple hours but the N wind got on it pretty good. Lot of energy in the water. Great rides, lotta fun, and the best thing about SI is when admin posts 'situation red' & thus no one bothers to show up. Had the place to ourselves: 20 miles of gorgeous waves.

BTW, you guys should do well there manana as it cleans up. Gfooter....Mitchell....lock & load, fellas, have a blast.

Dude, Rhode Island isn't tough. You guys barely have any African Americans and your Puerto Ricans aren't legitimate.

Hey Shark, aren't you a summer pro? Someone who skips the winter doesn't really have the right to b!tch about crowds in the surfing season.

Trunking it in NE? Good Lord, That Sly B isn't even trunking it in Jersey yet.

You know it was cute when guys in Narraganset acted ruff or rough.

    You're making progress.

But the name-dropping since you landed here makes you seem cheap, tawdry & like you're one of those gals that just puts her stuff out there.

First of all don't tell me I'm making progress. How dare you. I'm the greatest thing this site has ever seen. So cool.

Name dropping? Who am I name dropping? You sure this is the real Yankee? You don't seem to be as sharp as the older one. Like, you bust on my posts, but your busts aren't up to par, especially not for the HOTY winner of 2013.

I don't know, you leave for awhile and you come back and everything changes. I think I'll go write a poem about this experience. I'll share it with you when I'm done.

I've been trunking it since april 5th. The fact that you're taking that post serious is quite amusing. You don't seem to understand I'm making fun of the people on here.
    Is this EMASS?
