It has come to my attention that I no longer really have any friends I can depend on. What a shame. I invited half a dozen people for beer pong at my place saturday. Everyone said sure, I'll be there. Everyone canceled today with some gay adults excuse.

Hey man, I feel you pain. Few years back I had a really tight group of friends. Every weekend was a big party and we would all get together and hang out. As time went by a few people sort of fell off. But I was still left with a handful of really good friends. One moved to AZ, three got bad drug problems, another just moved to Vegas. Only ones left. One who had a drug problem is supposedly better and been trying to reconnect for the past 3 weekends, but I keep getting last minute excuses. At least mother ocean will never leave

I am closely tied to my local police dept. and they don't miss out on cookouts, eating, drinking, etc. So, maybe next time you should invite your second family, your SI FAMILY!!! Ha

I'm an anomalous person...like Zippy said, I really do enjoy my alone time and have little need for human contact. I've always had a small number of friends but close. I don't like socializing all that much like bar type stuff. I reckon it makes me nervous. That being said, if an si gathering was being held, or one of you fockers invited me over, I'd be down and would show up.
