As a relatively 'senior' member here (44 yrs old, 25 yr. ++ surfer), watch yourselves. We RARELY see waves like this (if they live up to the hype). It can get REALLY HEAVY out there. Listen to your little voice. If it says go in, listen. Remember in Pulp Fiction -- "Fcuk Pride"... wait for it to drop a little... stay safe..
One more thing -- If a MACKER is bearing down on you, NO MATTER WHAT, DON'T BAIL YOUR BOARD!!!!!!!!!! Guaranteed, nobody wants a trip to the ER because YOU PANICKED!!!!
And if you're bodyboarding, make sure you wear some damn swim fins! I had to yell at a kid or two today already cause he wasn't paying attention, cut me off and I went over the falls. COOL!
