well folks agian imKeeping my hope up this swell on Wed. and Thu.r holds for jersey. I took my Stewart out for a good long paddle last Sunday but its been a month since we've had any good waves here. seems like every time i see a bump on the radar it disappears 12 hrs before I'm ready to get wet. I know its July, I cant wait till this job shuts down I'm packing my **** and heading west.

VB summers are known for poor/flat surf conditions, but last month was particularly so. Days, weeks, on end of flatness and close to 100 degree weather. Still, there are those scattered "windows of opportunity" if you're there at the right time and place. Early mornings can be fun if the tide is right.

Looks like 2-3 foot swell is coming for the mid-Atlantic. All three forecast sites (magic, surfline, swellinfo) are lining up for the first time in a month. Triangulation!
