I think you are on to something. Can you imagine a Millennial trying to survive? We are so Evolved right?our reliance on the "system" has slowly eroded our ability to provide for ourselves!
That's just it man. As far as the now and the past.... the differences. I half agree with him. All the concrete we've surrounded ourselves with. The technology. Sitting at desks behind computers. Eating food that is more manufactured then grown/gathered/hunted. All that. Don't seem right to me. But it's worth noting, i believe humans are nothing more than animals. But your point about evolving in some false way, is also thought provoking. The real answer no one will ever know. But i will say this. Animals or species. Living things. Have came and gone. But why? Just because we are here now, doesn't mean we will be here 1000s of years from now, and it doesn't mean we are following some "true" evolutionary path. Flaw by our creator? Maybe if you believe in that thing. Flaw in ourselves/the thumbs were a bad idea? Maybe. I'll leave it at this no one can truly answer this question. But watch wall-e. It's a disney pixar movie. Has a hidden message meaning that kids wouldn't pick up on. Basically humans got so smart they start "walking" around in hover chairs. Living in a super high tech world. Every human is fat and has no bones. Because through evolution, they no longer needed it due to the technology. Now, i know it's just a kid's movie. But it makes you chuckle and think. Especially since i saw two girls "walking" around the neighborhood on those hoverboard things a few days ago. And two others walking to catch the train on the same ones.
Dsylexia, comorbid with ADHD will probably be Barry's hypothesis. He will present it as fact and then declare it to be a "disease" of your brain, insisting it was acquired from your mother's next door neighbor's gene pool. He may even mention the DSM-5.
No, my first line of thought would be you have a unique sense of humor, then on to maybe you were simply reading the screen too much, need to adjust it, poor lighting, simply need to have your eyes checked, drank too much over the weekend, before I would form any quacky hypotheses regarding a "diseased" brain.

Don't feel sorry for him. He's had it on a silver platter and blown it. Gotta feel bad for his parents.
As far as the movie goes, wanted to like it, didn't like it as much as I expected. Good in spots, liked the childhood background stuff but found some aspects of the production kind of silly......like the out-of-focus-shaking-camera-crowded-room sequences to portray (i guess from Andy's POV) what it must be like to be bi-polar and disoriented. Seemed kind of amatuerish to me. Andy seemed like a very talented surfer, and a sadly troubled man. No need to beat me over the head with moody camera sequences to get that reality.
Agree with Mitchell on his movie review. The trailers are actually far better, more powerful, than the movie imho.
