well you got to think. when old people on the beach look at us like we are crazy when we paddle out into some crazy big surf. well i guess we are kinda like the old people on the beach. its just a different kinda stoke. but i guess he wasn't very prepared for flight:D....

The guy is in critical condition....

I saw the video and think it was not a smart move for him to be kite surfing in winds that high...I am sure there will be a county ordinance on the books in no time making it illegal in the future because of this...

We can all get out of our element without realizing it and that is abviously what happened to this guy...

I hope he doesn't die because of it.

I think those things are pretty well attached. I am sure there is some sort of "emergency" release type deal but that may again show a lack of experience?

I heard he had one but didn't have enough time to use it.

I just love the people that stare at you from their rented condo balcony while you change into this tight rubber suit in the parking lot. Then they ask you, "isn't the water cold?" "Hell yes its cold, that is why I'm wearing this 200 dollar rubber suit!"

i love it when they ask you but im glad my uncle has a beach house so i just change in it. but one day this past winter some random people asked me how cold it was and the wind was blowing like ***** and i told them if its not cold then why would i be wearing a wetsuit with booties and gloves.
