I haven't seen him in a long time, but I used to see a guy that surfed all the time with a prothestic arm at (that place in between Santa Cruz and Monterey that shall not be named) when I lived up there. My wife and I were just watching when it was pumping one day and I told her he got it bitten off by a shark but he actually lost it in a fishing accident.
