Dont know whats more impressive, folly at 3x high or myrtle at 2x high. Should we be happy or scared?
i would be scared mostly for surfers that dont know what the're limit is and a little for me cause i've seen it get big but it seems like a dream since i say you should "pray for surf" and what happens we get over head surf.
o yeah it works for me but all of us truly have to think about the tourists or even new surfers that to help them if they need it. cause i've seen someone die in front of me and i dont want it to happen for a 2nd time. so for all surfers that have experience if you see someone and a lifgaurd is coming to help them just paddle over and let them hang on to your board if they need help.
I'm still ok with chest to head.lol but i just don't want to drift miles down the beach, but then again i might have too
that's what's good about beaches/sandbars - all you gotta do is drift from one peak to another. Walking back is a pain though after a nice long session
haha yea drifting will be inevitable and it will be a blizatch the next couple days...but oh well. if anyone else on this forum surfs in nmb and wants to get up this weekend let me know, i moved down here a couple of months ago and have yet to meet a fellow surfer other then a few longboarders that were older
Scared! Anything overhead is way beyond my capability. But I see the forecast is down to waist to chest now, I should be able to handle that.
o yeah anything over head is to hard for me not only the drop but mainly the paddle out so im good with it being waist to shest that doesnt bother me.
Might head to holden beach or stay here we'll see. Got one class in the am tomorrow so I should be out all day somewhere.
there was some stuff to ride in wb probably thigh high and occ. bigger but difty anbd but the waves didnt seem like they had nice lines i only got maybe one good line.
