Roy... your out-of-the-box thinking, creative self expression, originality, and craftsmanship are exemplary, admirable, and fun to watch. But your boards are not what I'm looking for in a surfboard. "Lame"??? I don't know. In some ways yes, and some ways no. But good luck anyway, brother.
Well, they have the ability to ride many waves which others can't and make sections which others can't, and do it more easily than others... so it's the others that I call lame. Whether or not they are what you are after is another matter, as people surf for a variety of reasons.. I do it to ride waves. Thanks for the compliments.
Putting all other aspects aside, I'm just surprised that there's actually a market for such expensive boards; saw that mentioned in another thread, but clearly there is, so good for you Roy. They're beautiful boards.
I think go pros are good. But the worst is that snuggy thing with the hood that some guys wear changing in the parking lot.
Ha ha! As bad as that thing is and as much as I have picked on it over the years, I have a friend that uses one and I'm jealous when it comes time to change and I'm wetting my seat as I struggle in and out of my suit.
Stil scrolling through the thread so I know they've been mentioned and will be again, but damnnit, I HATE webbed paddling gloves. Next vote goes to the Surf Mat. C'mon man! Man up and SPONGE!
Surfing with a Visor on, backwards.....or is that the duchiest thing? Maybe thats a whole other thread?
