Anyone have experience booking last minute flights? Tips? I have always booked in advance as far as possible to save money. Immediate flights are like double the money versus the same flight 3-4 months out. Thank you in advance. Sorry my posts are like texts (they are), despite Sandy being "obsolete" I just got power back on 2/2/13 @ 330 am. Internet and cable soon hopefully.
I sign up for last minute alerts with the airlines. They will email (or text) you when seats go on sale for any particular flight. FYI: Jet Blue was just running a sale for PR. $180 round trip from RDU, only 3 seats available and they went in one hour!
