last week in florida

Water is 54 here in jax beach. I don't need gloves but booties are a must at those temps for me. You'll see people in holds and gloves too on those cold offshore mornings. It gets cold here.

agreed with all said about fla...waves get really good there----of course it gets super flat too but there are a nice variety of setups throughout the state, it is possible to surf alone when there is some size, and the water never gets freezing....

The people FROM here are cool.

 

I didn't mean I literally wear my 3/2 all year long, just when it's necessary, and don't wear a 4/3 ever, guess that's what I really meant to say. No I wear nothing but shorts about 7-8 months out of the year.

+1, Wayne this is probably the best post you have ever made on SI. I saw the same video on Gulfster earlier today. Sweet footage and edit for sure. Thanks for sharing. If you just stuck to posts like this people probably wouldn't want to punch you in face as much.

 

I bet u Floridians are sitting home right now with the ac on,while im up here in nj freezing my testies off in my house!!!!its supposed to go to -2 degrees tonight,not the windchill the actual temperature.and the boys further north look at us like we are florida lol.watching those vids makes me a bit warmer

 

Actually I'm freezing my nuts off, it's going to get down in the low 30's tonight in south central fl....uncommonly cold. I do feel bad for you guys up in the northeast....hang in there just a few more weeks.

 

Low of 28 at my house tonight but overall yeah I feel for you northerners, well some of youse guys
