It must be damn cold because you look as stiff as a hard *****. You need to loosen up a bit. Move up on the board on takeoff. Hell you look like a beginner nice little swell though

Looks fun, I love Nova Scotia and want to move there. My wife would never move that far north.

It's so funny how tiny the waves look on a gopro when your paddling for them, in comparison to when your actually on them.

Yeah the gopro is only so good. And for all you "haters", It was my third session ever on that log, first time ever surfing it single fin. I had also been out of the water for 3 months. Anyways i'm not taking anything to heart as i know there will be better edits to come. I was simply trying out the new camera/board and decided to share the clip.

The best thing about surfing is that even when your not surfing at your usual level, you can still have a blast!

Thats what i'm saying man, Good to hear.
Surfing is the only sport invented from pure recreation, for nothing but fun. All this aggro just began when people discovered how to make a profit out of it. I'm not saying contests are a bad thing, they are a large part of the progression in our sport, pushing people to get better. I'm just saying personally, I started surfing to get away from the competitive scene. Surfing for me, as many of you will agree, puts me at ease. I could catch 2 waves in a session and be hella pissed; but in the end, i always come out of the water in a much better mood then when i went it.
