ya dats bull ****! when i got arrested down in nc they raped my car. everything was everywhere... i was just worried bout my boards though. when i saw them moving my boards i was just waiting for one of them to Accidently step on it, or right threw it. they dont give a **** about any body elses stuff, it kills me. the worst part is there are some real cool mellow cops who are there to do the right thing. VB's cops arent bad in this situation, they just give the locals a bunch of bull**** surf fines. to close to the pier, wrong surf time, no leash.... Have gotten them all. oh yeah paddling though the jetty.
if you dont smoke weed you dont need to worry about the laws. just imagine how many surfboards you could have bought with the money you wasted on getting high and funyuns
nice stereotype "brah"!! funyuns are fuggin gross. think of all the surfboards you could have bought with the money you wasted on gas for your car when you could have been walking or biking.
RI Medical marijuana centers legalized RI Medical marijuana centers legalized http://www.wpri.com/dpp/news/local_news/local_ap_ri_to_allow_ri_compassion_centers_20090616_mds RI allowed patients to possess drug since 2006 Updated: Tuesday, 16 Jun 2009, 8:30 PM EDT Published : Tuesday, 16 Jun 2009, 5:22 PM EDT Melissa Sardelli PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The state of Rhode Island will now allow the creation of compassion centers in order to dispense medical marijuana to chronically ill patients. On Tuesday, the Rhode Island General Assembly voted to override Governor Donald Carcieri’s veto , allowing the compassion centers. In 2006, Rhode Island allowed medical patients to possess marijuana, although there was never a legal way for patients to obtain the drug. “For the more than 600 Rhode Islanders who rely on medical marijuana to help relieve the unimaginable suffering that some diseases cause, or to relieve their nausea enough to take food, this will provide not only relief and safety, but also dignity. Sick people should not be forced to associate with drug dealers and the dark underbelly of society to get the help they need. I’m glad we’re finally recognizing their right to access marijuana safely, legally and without needless shame or fear,” said Representative Thomas Slater a sponsor of the bill. The Ocean State is the third state in the country to allow the sale of marijuana for medicinal purposes. Right now, 680 patients are registered with the Department of Health's medical marijuana program. In the US, thirteen states have recognized medical marijuana: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington; although California is currently the only state to utilize "dispensaries" to sell medical cannabis. There are currently five other US states considering medical marijuana bills in their state legislatures: Illinois, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York. South Dakota also has several petitions in interest of medical marijuana legalization.
I'm high on life, but I think it's strange that you would have a bunch of surfers substitute materialism for hedonism. Surfing is a very hedonistic sport; many folks are "addicted" to it, and "just like how it feels to catch a wave." Man.
City Limits Does anyone know the “limits” of OC cops in terms of “city limits”? Like how far do they patrol?
a friend of mine has this "i-phone app" which has all the laws for marijuana possession by state. I cheked it out after seeing this thread, and if i recall correctly maryland possession rules were realll laid back. not that anyone should be taking legal advice from me, but if you really care about this subject and have an iphone spend 99cents for the app
Like i was saying before on this thread. I have the book. There are medical marijuana laws in place in Maryland, but no one on this site would be protected by them... In MD, you will be arrested and presecuted for the marijuana under the same guidelines as everyone else. Before you trial, you have to go to a doctor in Maryland and have them personally write you a recommendation letter stating that marijuana use is the proper course of action for dealing with whatever alement you have... There are currently ZERO doctors in maryland that will do this for you unless you are completely immobilized or on your death bed... So like I said, there are some, but you aren't gonna beat the charge... So, just pretend that there aren't any. Because you are NOT protected by these laws... The fact that everyone on here is a surfer leads me to believe that no one is on their "death bed" ya know?
