Like I said start having him check CL and surfshops in the area. Also head back to where you were last you might see someone actually using it . Stranger things have happened.

I perosnally dont know how anyone can forget a surfboard at the beach . I keep all my **** in arms reach when i am loading up to leave . I also do a walk around my car before leave .

what does that really mean? so if someone who isnt from that town or doesnt normally surf there ends up at that break for any given reason, they would be unwelcome? asked to leave? forced to leave? i understand that some aspects of surfing are territorial, but has no one ever tried out a new spot for the first time? who is to determine if someone is worthy of surfing at any given spot?

not looking to make a problem, just genuinely curious as to what that really means...

it means I surf there all the time, all year long, and I generally know all the regulars, at least by face if not personally, so if there's 4-5 of us, I'm going to know who can make what, we're going to synch up w/ each other, i.e. call each other into waves, take late drops, etc, if your totally respectful and know what your doing, you can probably insert yourself into the cycles and pick off a wave or two (unless its epic, LOL) if your a kook and/or a d-bag, then we'll block you out, drop in on you, paddle around you etc. and if you get loud about it - even if you are in the right - I'm certainly going to back up my neighbor who I drink with and borrow his power tools over some bennie, that kind of thing.

Stank, there are a ton of idiots on this forum and you know most of them can't even hold their own in the water. Dave, I couldn't have said it better myself! The board will turn up eventually.... Everyone take a deep breath and go surf or something, we've had some great swell the last couple days so people shouldn't be so AGGRO.

The most aggro post in this thread is Stank's. Everyone in general needs to chill the f*ck out. This is the internet and we're talking about surfing. We're not debating politics in person or anything. Let's keep things in perspective ladies and gentlemen! :D

    Now I have to reply..

jstank... post a pic if you really do care,, and don't listen to all the goons on this site.

No reason to call the bro out he lost his board so he's trying to reach out to his peers in hopes of it's return (Hopefully, but unlikely so it seems.) sorry dude :/
    Keep up your hopes.

Every time I see one of these threads I wonder with utter amazement how anyone can 'lose' a board. I mean it's not small like a set of keys or a cell phone.

Me too. Nobody needs to take this to heart or go getting all offended, but how to you lose something that is at least 5'+ big?

^ second that... My routine when I get out of the water is, grab keys off tire, open door grab board sock, put board in sock and put board in car. I don't even like putting my board down in the road or on the dune or anything like that. Even if I did I would immediately realize that my board was not in the car.

I have, however, got in my car to leave my house after grabbing my wetsuit and boots to realize I didn't have my board in the car...

    Thanks EC.

WoW..this really gives people something to talk about huh?..how lame! Anyway, thanks for the suggestions but as i said, a guy paddeled out the next day and asked me if i seen it cause i was on street with him. I asked him if he had a login for this site, he said no, I said i would do him a favor. I don't care, he's an idiot, i just thought i would try and help. Im over it..That was my deed for the day...and its done...No pics, no more threads...its over...!! but have fun chatting about this for the next month!

    Keep it real

    Let me correct you

Stank, there are a ton of idiots on THE INTERNET and you know most of them can't even hold their own......

You know what this forum seems to be full of? People who have never been on an online forum in their life. For every person's opinion, there are a thousand haters there to tell you you're an idiot. Getting worked up over what someone says on the internet is just plain stupid.

that kind of clears it up - but i'm still not sure i'm on board with it. like even if you surf the same break every day of your life - that doesnt mean you've never surfed some place new before - maybe even just to try it out. if i came to your break, i wouldnt want to be greeted with anger or animosity. I'm not expecting to be welcomed with open arms either, but i just dont see why someone would feel the need to be mean on purpose.
