legal surfboard question

    i was wondering what the nj state ''law'' definiton was for a surfboard. i have a finless beater for example but if i stand up it could i argue its like a bodyboard and not a surfboard? if you have any info thanks.

    i couldnt find anything on it plus dbag life guards have said stuff to me b4 so...

    Probably not going to find a state law defining a surfboard. What you described is probably depends on each municipalities' ordinances

    It varies from town to towm best thing to you is call city hall and get intouch with parks and rec dept
