True. But it ain't easy being a hard pretzel. Being nibbled on since you were just a little ball of dough, your malleable childhood innocence forever twisted into a salty, knotted crust. Before you know it, even the most tragic sights fill you with callous indifference. There's no going back - by that point, your insides are hardened too.

They ain't pretty, but at least hard pretzels are individually baked. Soft pretzels are squeezed from machines; bagged off of conveyor belts, and thrown on a shelf, with expiration dates looming like common loaves.

Sure, the soft pretzel is more popular, and easier to consume. But it is an ignoble aim, to make it into the undiscerning consumer's pantry, for in the end, they too will crumble, as all pretzels do. Time favors no pretzel.

The hard pretzel is maligned because it is consumed by dogs and men. The soft pretzel is more palatable, but it is because of this very reason, that it will be fed to pigeons.

RM didn't ask about your people though, neither did I, or the countless others who have asked what you do for a living. We all asked what YOU do. It's a simple question. You choose to ignore it, or write senseless paragraphs that reference everything but the simple question at hand. Answering the question with one simple sentence would suffice. We're not asking for your bank account #, and SS #, so your illusiveness seems odd.

Does the question surprise you? It shouldn't. You give us weekly glorifications of what part of the country your surfing in, carver boarding in, and flying to. That's not normal for 99.9% of us. Flying, and traveling a couple times, or one time a year is expensive for most of us. Traveling to surf zones all throughout the year is an astronomical expense, so the natural question for us Fraggles is; what do you do for money? We are only looking for some insight on how you afford all of this surf travel. What surfer wouldn't want to figure out that gig?

With your weekly brag fest, you should expect being asked what you do, on the reg.
