Reminds me of the time I was fishing for Bonito in the Gulf with the Cubes, Chris Daughtry, Jeff Probst and super chef Bobby Flay... have you ever been down to the gulf on the bonito run?

No, but that must have been a fun little excursion, lol. The gulf has never been my cup of tea, spending most of my time in warmer climates (the islands and beyond), instead. Your story does remind me of having once been stranded up in the bush in Jamaica, a place called Bamboo, up above St. Anne's Bay. We were on my boyfriend's pimento berry plantation (his parents), the truck broke down, the pickers had already been discharged, and all we had to eat for three days was two cans of Mackerel with some home made Johnny Cakes, rationed between the five of us and two attack shepherds, but we had one gorgeous view of the sea from up there.

Anyway, Mr. Marley was born near the plantation and spent his childhood there (is buried there, too).
