Awesome Clip AWESOME ! That's what this life should be about. You did not need to post anything else about it. Watch this video and you will be sooo glad you can walk down to surf. Man,they need something like that in De/ Md. You know most of the helpers were probably the best in the water and they reached out to others, not dropping on them ! I was so moved by this clip.
if something comes around here like that someone let me know...i would love to do something like that

too scary man i just watched both clips. you never know what can happen in a split second of your life. i have had some personal stuff that knocked me around, but i can still move. just to let you guys know, when i am out there shooting and it's rough i do drop some prayers. i was at ir and saw someone get flipped in the air and land in shallow water head first and 2-3 of us stood there and watched for a head to surface. it can be too sceeeery to think about.
Do you know if there is anyway to get involved with life rolls on when its in long branch and whether or not they need help? Ive seen this on fuel tv and always wanted to help. thanks.

rough way to be sometimes you can really loose respect for the things you have, until you loose them. and this stuff can happen anytime. i don't want to sound like a bummer. but it is real and can happen to anybody, anytime. i just went through some surgery and will have to have another one next year to reconstruct my feet. i can walk and i love to get out and shoot, but imagine loosing your lower body. i had a friend in baltimore who had lost the lower part of his body due to a gun shot. i would load him up in the truck and take him out hunting with me. it was difficult, but it meant sooo much to him to be able to do the things he used to do, plus God gave me joy in seeing him take a nice deer. be thankful for what you have now. and help someone who can't do it.
Like my eldest son said . . . in a letter to the editor of Surfer magazine back in 1994 just after he broke his neck at C-6/7, "Surf everyday as if it were your last, because you never know when it will be." Keep that in mind and maybe it will temper all the trash talking. Jesse Billauer's friends have made it possible for him and many others, and on a more local note, the spirit of Bill Wise, Delaware's favorite son, lives on. http://www.surf64.com/index_bwsv.htm http://www.billwisesurfs.com/ Those who choose to forget history, are doomed to repeat it.
