Law enforcement told me to get out of the water yesterday. I had swum past the line they strung up on the beach to keep people from walking and hanging out where the birds are nesting. Being out about 50 yards from the beach I thought I was ok. But every time I turned my head to take a breath I saw them, following me down the beach as I swam, trying to get my attention.

Here's the kicker... they were driving on the beach in their truck. Does anybody else see the irony there, or am I just being a d!ck?

they can disturb the birds but you can't. swimming 50 yards out vs. driving on the beach. like lifeguards who go nuts on us but then surf in the swim area themselves is wrong.

by the way, I was a pussface last night because the op and lb edumacated and reformed me to realize the lifeguards are harmless and mostly nice and just a fleeting temporary part of all the jersey shore summer.
and I was whining because I am now officially a lightweight after finally trying out the two-beer 24 oz mug my elementary school autistic student gave me. do not get drunk. but sierra Nevada summerfest is good, two bottles at a time in a large mug.

From my personal experience 50% or more of law enforcement officers are generally ****s who are above the laws they enforce.

Ah high school. What a waste of time. And I still graduated with a 3.8 outta 4.[/QUOTE]

I loved High school. It was easy, we had lots of good looking girls, almost everybody partied, got to surf all the time, booze and smoke were cheap and available. Hell even some of the teachers partied. Nowdays it's basically a prison from what I've seen. Thank gawd there were no cameras in those days. Good times!

Used to work at a public beach for 3 years the worst things about being a beach guard is waking up hungover as f*ck and baking in the sun all day squidward.jpg and having to watch waves roll in on really good days while you just sit there and mope

EDIT: and having to blow your friends over that are surfing

Funky stuff... save the herbs and the bottle, and keep refilling it with rum. Every once in a while you need do marinate some wine and sugar in it. But you can reuse the same herbs for at least a dozen batches.
