Every summer I go to NH and stay at a resort and it is right on the beach. Just out of curiosity has any one else ever surfed there? By the way it is called Little Boars Head. Sorry for the typo on the title.

That's not too descriptive - Little Boar's Head is an entire historical district in North Hampton. There's a number of beaches/breaks near there. You referring to the state beach just south?

Yup, surfed there a few times. Generally not great shape - you'd be better off heading south a bit to the seawall (no trepidation telling you about that, it's the most popular/crowded break in northern NE), but I've seen that place get insane on certain swell angles. Good hurricane, it'll fire - beware the paddle out.

Yay, but there are usually so many people. When I go to the beach I was talking about there is like only 20 people in sight, plus at low tide there is an awesome break you just have to paddle out quit a ways.

Yeah, I surf the area all of the time. This stretch of coast is my home break. Little boars head is fun, but is one of the most fickle little spots, meaning it doesn't break all of the time. It is usually referred to as Costello's. It's right across from the ice cream shop. It is just north of Plaice cove and just south of Linky's.
Boar's head is an actual spot just at the south end of the wall. It is a small like peninsula type of rocky outcrop that separates Hampton's main beach and the wall. It breaks good on both sides of Boar's depending on swell size and direction. The north side is awesome on larger swells and will block winds out of the south. However it is rocky and can be dangerous.
This spot has been really good the past couple of weeks Even right at the very tip of Boars is super fun.

If it's your home break, treat it as such. Granted, it's all on Rt 1A in NH, so you can see pretty much everything from the road, but still - you don't need to drop the dime on every spot within a mile onto an internet message board.

I think we will be ok guys... These spots are posted all over the web. ever heard of magicseaweed?
Besides, its not NJ. and those guys wont bother coming up here... We have no piers to Shot and our hindu population is quite low...
Besides, these spot only work on the right tides, swell directions and size... The random surf trip goer up to NH is more than likely not to get it good or at all in these spots, or know where to get in. If they are planning surf trips here, they are likely from the Quebec area and will go to the wall... We get a lot of those

Not saying it's the end of the world, just seems unnecessary...

I get what your saying... wasn't trying to be rude either. But we probly will not see an influx in tourism due to these posts. Also with summer here, these spots will likely see action maybe a handful of times until the fall... with fingers crossed.
Lobster sharks are getting terrible up here... They are awful eating too
