Cool stuff. Pretty loud explosion just occurred. Wonder how far away they're shooting the footage.

    #Fissure.
Thank the lord it isn't an anal fissure on each one of your butts; you would be screaming and spouting out lava as well......

It's "buttocks, Barry, "buttocks". "butts" lacks that professional medical terminology sound you like to frequently spew.

Your first post on here not withstanding, Barry, you are the intellectual of Swellinfo.

So, do you think Yellowstone is going to explode anytime soon?

Isn't it, like, well over due?

Should I be more worried aboot high school kids or volcanoes?

I've been thinking of heading west young man...

What is your synopsis on the next big western earthquake. You know The Big one not some Oklahoma fracking rumbles.

And damn I was going to move to North Dakota years ago for the oil boom? What happened?

    Thanks for your attention.

    Yes Barry, "spew".

20 breaks were lost back in '91 to this big bad monster, and it just spewed into the surf again last night:

Okay, here is more spew....who gives a crap if 20 breaks were lost?? Only morons will miss it. With any luck, all breaks on the "big island" will vanish under lava. Then Chile can claim it's rightful place as where surfing first originated. Screw the fat polynesians--they are too fat to surf anyways.....
    How is that for "spew"?

Semi-decent spew. Maybe a bit more cowbell in the overture...

Just for you, Barry. Thumbed through part of my old "stereophonic" album collection, pulling about five Hawaiian oldies. Maybe this one is more your speed (1960), and will get you in the mood to hit some breaks in Hawaii soon...

LOL...yeah, I listened to it for a few moments...sounds like cowboy music.
Right now I am listening to Roy Buchanan, playing "Filthy Teddy"...that is more my speed.

These are actually inherited albums...about 100 of them...no idea what all I have...just unpacked them. Here is another, "stereo Hi FI DECCA Records" from '73:

Hawaiian music is, simply put, just strange. Just sliding up and down the neck with a metal slide. Which I do playing blues in open tuning, so I should not criticize. Reminds me of a saying in Spanish: "Para el gusto se hicieron los colores, Y para el culo se hicieron los mojones" (For taste colors were made; for asses, turds were made). Aren't you glad you are conversing with me??

Prefer to have my first cup of coffee before conversing with anyone, or laughing, and have yet to make it...but it was worth it...

It's like anything, you have to be put in the mood, and this collection is from two who are two generations older than both of us (one formerly stationed in Hawaii), so... Notice there are quite a few collectibles in the mix, just haven't had time to go through all.

Been listening to quite a bit of Gallagher of late, myself.

Not that Gallagher, Paul. Both Roy Buchanan and Rory Gallagher had deep blues influences. Gallagher was a self-taught multi-instrumentalist. He formed a band in the mid 60's and used to tour with Blind Faith. This was filmed during one of the old Isle of Wight Festivals (Brits' version of Woodstock):

then he formed a power trio under his own name, selling 30 million+ albums. Would have sold more but died...

Are you going to share some big island music with us?
