Idc who dropped who both were in the wrong and for that ski dude not to give some one a ride out in a life threatening situation is just wrong. People just need to respect eachother and sometimes people need to be confronted like the towers but not in the way dude did by dropin on him. I mean if a wave can be paddled Into there is no reason to ski it. That's cheating the people that are fighting the currents and waves to get out to the break. I mean how would yall in jersey like it if I got a Dixie flag jetski and started towning Into your winter swells at manasquan . Then challenging everyone in the line up to a bench off, while not sharing my roids. Even better snookie would be the one towing me in.
This is textbook truth and wisdom. Those that don't stand up for their local break deserve to see it taken over. Respect given is respect gotten, and disrespect begets getting your card pulled. Dave Weasel is perfect in his arrogance. Karma is a living breathing thing, and he will reap it.
The body boarder was wrong in that situation. Ok, he was frustrated because he wanted to drop in on huge waves and then get worked and there were some guys who were driving in with a jet ski and getting insane and long rides and using the whole wave. I understand how that could be frustrating. Being frustrated does not make you right especially if it puts yourself and others at risk. I am a little surprised by the overall response to this. Regardless, it is wrong to take out anger or frustration felt towards an group on one person. Strange and sad to see so many people that do not believe in this. Peace.
Your gonna move from your OWN spot and watch tow guys all day? There's a rule if people can paddle then you should not tow, or let some guys get some waves sometimes. John had enough, and made a statement, taking an enoromous beating in the process.
the guys up in Canada have this figured out, they have a fairly small surf community and plenty of room to spread out so no need for this crap, one reason i like to travel north for waves rather than south
