Long Beach NY closed to swimmers, open to all surfing (Thursday)

    Lifeguards closed the beach today (Wednesday) to surfing only, at all jetties. Will do so tomorrow too.

    Winds favorable (NW)

    Everyone in NJ should take the short drive up and enjoy our beaches.

    Wow... that's sick. Especially since they will be limiting the surfing at Rockaway to 90th only. Everyone head to the Long Beach shredfest!
