just wondering how LI is..never been there, and cant find much info about it on google or anything else
guys will claim that surf here, when it gets good rivals Hawaii, Cali, etc. Don't fool yourself. Montauk point is about the only legit break on the island and that can't even be considered a point break; it's just another rock break. Sometimes long beach can get good with an easterly swell, but for the most part long island is strung with closeouts. There are good days, but they are very few and far between.
