Check out what happened to me the last day we could longboard (skate) before the snow fell http://vimeo.com/32857732
if you look closely theres a transition between smooth pavement and ****ty pavement, i was straight legged going into which equaled the speed wobbles.
thats crazy! you gotta watch them speed wobbles! And i'm not trying to tell you how to longboard.. but your style is way to relaxed to be going with those speeds... your stance needs to be more firm, and what kind of board is that? Because it doesn't look like a downhill board! good thing your alright tho cause my friend's cousin broke his neck just like that! No Helmet. No Respect.
you're lucky you had a jacket on, because road rash sucks man!!! I got it really bad one time on my whole right arm. My arm is still all scared up and it was from spring break last year.
You presented tentative and nervous the whole ride, then the latino man fell down but remained holding his ski pole. And what was that about? Just don't have something like a dangerous ski pole pulling you faster than your skills, yo.
Dude I just geeked out for like 7 minutes and 29 seconds. Anyways, 6/26/2011, my birthday. Just got done eating at the crab festival, had shot some guns, and I believe a few brews earlier that morning. Decided to do some skitchin on my cousins truck on a board that wasn't mine, that was a massive regret. Got some gnarly speed wobbles and got some sweet scars. P.S. don't bomb wright brothers after dark, just ask that dude with his arms all scared up
haha... that footage was pretty cool though... I think the anticipation of the fall, made it a worthy watch
First off. Im just about the furthest thing from latino ahaha. 100% canadian. Second, I've gone much faster then that, as seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjOFmmQZsAg ( @ 1:13 i hit 70 km/h) I'm not saying im pro, im just saying i'm not stupid. Like I stated early, i went into the transition between good and bad pavement straight legged which was the mistake and cause of the bail.
Honestly, the mistake was not surveying your road for this danger before you hit it. And I know Latina live in Canada too.
Hey jc, not to hijack this gentlemen's thread, but I have not. I'm land locked with work and nobody I know is nearby me to make a day trip to beach. I don't ever surf alone due to my novice. I will have to wait till next spring or summer and likely hit it in CI. You surfing?
