Anyway, care to answer what the longest flat spell they ecountered during summer is?(memorial day to labor day) By flat I mean, Knee high or under....not counting longboard waves here. Anything, not rideable with shorboard=flat. Also, not talking about your ability to get in the water because of your work schedule. I'm talking about number of flat days in a row. So how many days in a row was the longest stretch of flatness? Also, how many days a season on average have waist high or above during the summer months?
its bad dude. ive gone three months during summer without a fun shortboardable wave. last year it was stomach high one day in july but that was the best day. if u surf the east coast u have to have other hobbies during the summer; just enjoy the warm weather and camp, hike, bicycle, etc. this past winter has been bad and nobody is looking forward to the upcoming flatness.
3 months!!!! That's the whole summer. I remember 14 rideable days from last year's summer.(I counted) I thought that was terribly flat.
