Interesting contest. They're really pushing this as an advertisement for cabo and zippers can be really good point break...but I've been there a couple of times and it's super crowded and the locals will drop in on you quicker than sh*t. Not as bad as malibu, but on a smaller scale. Good thing is there's a bunch of other less crowded spots in cabo...bad thing is they're pretty spread out (long, hot, dusty drives) and the quality isn't nearly as good as zippers. Time your trip with a hurricane swell (they get them more often than any other place on earth) and even more spots light up...but you'll also increase your chances of getting hepatitis by tenfold.
Was just watching for a quick minute and heard them say Steel Pulse is playing the festival on Saturday. Damn I wish was there!
