What is your ability and what other boards do you have in your quiver? ALot of it depends on what you really need in a board , and what anyone else rode size wise is irrelevant to unless you happen to be very close in ability and your size. I can help you some but need to know what level you surf at, how old you are, and how tall and what you weigh, will also need to know what need this board to do, meaning is it going to be a one board quiver or is it a gap filler from your true groveler, to your high performance shortboard.

Thanks for the insight. I'm 15 years old, between 5'9 and 5'10 and around 140 lbs. I'd say im an intermediate surfer, not pro by any means lol. I already have a good wave board, a 5'11 18 2 surftech. It is an ultra responsive board, however paddles like sh*t and is terrible in everything except clean chest high or bigger. I dont need a full out groveler, which is why im stuck between these boards. Something that paddles well and is still responsive in those 1-4 foot waves we get all summer

Well I just got a sick new board, its a high performance groveler, its not as sleek and sexy as a squished down shortboard but its honeslty the most fun i have ever had on thigh high surf. SO your 15, and your frame is going to fill out, so the last thing you need is a squished down shortboard for right now, being that next summer you could be 20 lbs heavier. Pm me your emai i can shoot you some pics of my new groveler. Honesetly i was able to do full turns on a wave face that was shin high sunday. I have been surfing for a long time and cant rember any board being able to do what I acn do on my Slop Rod. I would post pics here but dont have access at work to photobucket or anytpicture posting sites.
