I have a few Lost... boards now and I used to never buy brand name boards. My Mini Driver and RNF are both stock and the RNF is one of my favorite boards I've had in a long time. Haven't really been able to put the Mini to the test but the few sessions I've had on it have been great. Also, have a custom Bottom Feeder. It took forever (3 months in summer) to get but I've had a handful of sessions on it and its been great.

I had a couple of channel islands boards and sold both after riding them just once.

Although, I don't think that either company really compares to the custom local boards I was getting at Hatteras Glass when I lived in Avon. But I live in Wilmington, NC now and haven't been able to find a local shaper/glasser that works for me.

what...?? 3 months is NOT forever to wait for a custom board built on the west coast. from a company w/ a production scale like ...Lost has, it certainly is longer than average (6-8 weeks), but i've heard stories of guys waiting for boards for 8 months or more from smaller but in-demand shapers out west.

i had a custom speed demon 2 a few years ago and the board was insanely good. I retired it lat year and took it to Jon Ashton and asked him to copy it for me since I liked it so much. He made a few slight adjustments and the new board is even better.

Get the best of both worlds!
Tommy Moore, who was until recently working for ...lost as a ghost shaper has now relocated to Virginia Beach (he moved home) and is back doing his own line TMOORE Shapes. Boards are sick, great built quality customs cheaper than a stock off the shelf ...lost or CI (you dont have to pay for marketing and pro rider budgets) and his shapes are as cutting edge as anything coming out of those to board factorys.

Tommys Boards are sick, some of the best rail work you will ever see. HIs boards are fantastic. Its great to be able to sit and talk to Tommy bring in your current board, tell him what it does and what it doesnt do and go ffrom there if you are not sure what you want. I will warn you, LISTEN to what he says, a few boards I bucked him on what I wanted, but guesss what the man knows what he is talking about. He built boards for me doing exactly what i emphatically said to do, they didnt work nearly as good as the boards he took my desires and built a board he knew would work. Just get on a TMOORE you will have found your shaper for life for performance boards!

Spellbinders is a ripoff. You can get a CI or Lost board at Brave for $75-100 cheaper

I hope he's paying you for all the ball-washing you're doing on here...
